Dayron Garcia was born in 1985 in Santa Clara, Cuba. From an early age he found in drawing and painting a natural form of expression. During his childhood he participated in art workshops that nurtured this initial interest, although much of his training and development as an artist has been self-taught.

Garcia lived in Cuba until the age of 36, an experience that is part of his memory, his sensitivity, and the way he approaches the world. His artistic trajectory is characterized by a constant, intuitive search that is open to transformation.

His work moves freely between different styles, themes, and forms of representation. Rather than limiting his practice to a specific visual language, he allows the inspiration of each moment to determine the character of the work. This freedom enables him to explore diverse perspectives, emotions, ideas, and experiences through painting.

He primarily works with oil, acrylic, and watercolor, media he uses according to the expressive needs of each piece. Color, matter, and the particular qualities of each technique are an essential part of his creative process.

He currently lives and works in Zephyrhills, Florida, where he continues to develop an ever-evolving artistic practice, guided by curiosity, experimentation, and a deep connection to the act of creation.
